  • Learning disabilities such as dysgraphia (writing) or math difficulties

Do you provide evaluations for children and adults?

Yes. We evaluate children, adolescents, and adults - Ages 3 through adulthood.

What is included in an evaluation?

Every evaluation includes:

  • A diagnostic interview
  • Standardized testing of thinking skills, learning abilities, and other relevant areas
  • Behavior and emotional rating scales when needed
  • A feedback meeting to review results and recommendations
  • A detailed written report

How long does testing take?

Most evaluations take 1–4 weeks from start to finish.

Typical timeline:

1) a diagnostic interview (often by telehealth) within a few days

2) one or more in-person testing sessions, often within 2 weeks

3) a feedback meeting (often by telehealth)

Are your evaluations accepted by schools and colleges?

Yes. Our evaluations are conducted by a licensed Florida School Psychologist and meet the requirements for school-based IEP/504 plans and for college disability services.

Do you offer online or remote evaluations?

Interviews and feedback sessions can be conducted online. Standardized testing is completed in person to ensure accuracy and validity.

How should I prepare for testing?

A good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and taking any usual medications are the best preparation. Bring glasses, hearing aids, or other needed devices.

Where is testing conducted?

Testing is usually done in our Fleming Island home office. We can also arrange sessions at our Jacksonville office near Hodges and JTB.

Cost

The cost of evaluation depends on several factors, such as age, previous testing, reason for evaluation, and tests administered.

How much does it cost?

Fees range from $400 to $2400, depending on the type of testing, age of the person being tested, and whether previous testing has been done.

Examples:
