GPS provides psychological testing for dyslexia, learning disabilities, & ADHD. Appointments M-F, some weekends. Appointments 1 to 4 weeks out.

Testing is conducted in-person only.
Evaluations are tailored to your needs - to answer your questions - From $400 to $2400.
Results are appropriate for IEPs, 504 Plans, & college level accommodations.
A "Good Faith Estimate" of the total cost is provided before the evaluation, that is, the cost will not exceed the amount agreed unless a new agreement is made.

Many insurance carriers DO NOT cover psychoeducational testing.
The cost will depend upon the procedures conducted. After the interview, a good-faith estimate will be provided to you based on the purpose of testing & the tests needed. After a feedback interview, you receive a comprehensive report with detailed information about strengths, weaknesses, diagnoses, and recommendations. An itemized bill for services will be provided after the feedback session that can be submitted by you to your insurance carrier.
Half of the Total Payment is due after the test administration session. The remainder is due when you receive the final written report.
Grey Psychoeducational Services and affiliates are self-pay only.
Neither Grey Psychoeducational Services nor affiliates bill insurance companies for evaluation costs.
Many insurance carriers do not cover psychoeducational testing.
Fees are the sole responsibility of the child’s family or individual.
In some cases, fees might be considered a covered medical expense through a flexible spending account (FSA).
Please check with your employer/insurance to determine the guidelines for reimbursed expenses through your FSA and/or self-submission to insurance.
Fees cover the following:
+ Interviews and behavioral rating scales
+ Administration of all tests
+ Written report with test results, interpretation, and recommendations
+ Feedback interview in-person or online to discuss results & recommendations.
+ Follow up questions or summary letters.
Payments may be made by cash, check, or electronically (e.g., Zelle, Venmo). When necessary, a return check fee for the amount of the check plus a return check charge of $25 will be applied to your account. Payment Plans are available - Otherwise Payments that are not made within 60 days of becoming due, will accrue interest on the unpaid amount from that date forward at the highest rate allowable by law. The client will be obligated to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney’s fees when necessary.
Psychoeducational evaluation procedures used by Rod Grey, school psychologist, are similar to or the same as those used in public schools and private practice settings by school psychologists, psychologists, and neuropsychologists. Similar assessments might be called by various names, including "Psychological Testing", "Neuropsychological Testing", or "Cognitive Evaluation" even though the tests may be identical.
Free Alternatives: Parents of children and teens should be aware of assessment services available free of charge through the public school system and Child Find. Results will help determine a child's eligibility for in public school or early intervention services. Formal diagnoses are not usually made.
Fee-for-Service Option: Evaluation results are suitable to obtain services and/or accommodations in public/private school, IEP's & 504 Plans, early intervention, and university settings. Results also include diagnoses and private treatment and intervention options. Rod Grey's experience in assessment of children, teens and adults, and his flexibility in scheduling appointments (i.e., weekends available) offer unique and valuable benefits.
Rod will evaluate your or your child’s unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. He is committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity, quality and empathy. The office provides a family friendly environment in 2 locations - Fleming Island & Jacksonville. Evaluations are usually scheduled sooner and at lower cost than large pediatric clinics with long waiting lists.
